Martha Elson at the Courier Journal wrote a wonderful article about my book, Louisville’s Butchertown, and my quest to get it written and published. Click to read it here Butchertown_article_CJ

It’s been a wonderful week so far! Saturday (Feb 13) the Thomas Edison House Museum hosted a book signing from 12-4 and we had a great turnout. Over 100 people came to see the museum and several bought copies of the book. The best part of the day was neighbors talking about the history of the neighborhood, and the differences from when they moved here and now.

The Monday book signing at Presidential Place was rescheduled for March 4 because of inclement weather.

Tuesday we again had a great turnout, especially for having had 6″ of snow dumped on us. I was very happy to see several neighbors walking to the event, just like Jeremy and I did.  So far the feedback on the book has been overwhelmingly positive, the only criticism being that the pictures are small.
